Positive Energy of North Carolina is an expansion of the family-owned and operated Positive Energy Consulting, based out of South Western Pennsylvania. With decades of experience, our family specializes in home performance and building science. Our journey started when our founder/owner Cecilia Driscoll entered the home performance industry during its earliest years in 1986. After working as an energy auditor and quality control specialist for various weatherization programs, Cecilia branched out and founded PEC in 2010. Since then we have been working with special weatherization programs focused on providing utility usage reduction to many disadvantaged members of our community. Year-in and Year-out, PEC is one of the top-performing contractors in the utility programs in terms of work quality and overall energy reduction for our clients.

10 years into our venture, we have made the decision to expand our reach to North Carolina. After spending time as a Wrestling Coach at UNC-Chapel Hill, Cecilia’s son, DeWitt Driscoll, began working full time in the home performance field. With roots set in central NC, the time has come for PEC to expand, and with that Positive Energy of North Carolina was born.

We take a “house as a system” approach when diagnosing and solving your home comfort, health, and performance needs. Our years of experience in the home performance industry make us uniquely qualified to provide a wide range of services with regard to home comfort and performance. Our BPI-certified technicians specialize in identifying the true cause of performance issues.
